Our story starts at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels were seeking revenue growth to enhance opportunities for student-athletes. Co-founder Paul Krause, a senior associate athletic director with Carolina Athletics, championed data analytics and marketing automation to drive ticket sales, increase donations, and sell merchandise. Co-founder Dr. Anthony Franklin, is a former scholarship student athlete who played football at Coastal Carolina University. Anthony, who lead the sports analytics practice at SAS, designed and built the analytical models that enabled fan engagement, revenue, and loyalty for the Tar Heels.

Paul and Anthony recognized that delivering high ROI for collegiate and professional sports properties required significant simplification. Fanalytical was founded to provide proven analytical models without the costs or resources of establishing a bespoke data warehouse. Rather than locking clients into expensive licensing fees or hosting expenses, Fanalytical created a seamless process where clients controlled their data and received segmented lead lists for campaign execution in less than 24 hours.
